Residential Pre-Purchase Electrical Safety Inspection

Ensure you engage qualified A-Grade electricians for your electrical safety inspection.

SPI Property Inspections partners with qualified A-Grade electricians to provide a comprehensive electrical safety inspection which covers a visual and functional test on all electrical equipment within the property. This includes an inspection of:

Incoming mains
Switchboards
Circuit protection
All cabling and outlets
Appliances and
Smoke alarms

The report will be accompanied with site photographs, action items and will also provide an outline of future recommended works. A quote for any remedial work that requires immediate attention will be supplied at the time of inspection. Any future recommended work will be further outlined in the report.

Please note: in order to complete the inspection, the electrician will need to shutdown power at times during the inspection in order to comply with industry standards and to carry out testing on cabling to ensure the installation is safe.

A standard residential home will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete.

Combine your Pre-Purchase Electrical Safety Inspection with your Pre-Purchase House Inspection to know the true condition of the property.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Contacted George to do a building inspection as he came highly recommended by a friend. He was able to get out there the next day and provided the report promptly without any hassles at all. Would not hesitate to recommend George and SPI inspections if you're after great service and a thorough inspection report.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience with SPI throughout our house construction. Frank was incredibly helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions, making the entire inspection process easy to understand.

I highly recommend SPI for building inspections. While builders do their best, it's always worthwhile to have an independent inspection for added confidence. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that our home was built safely and to a high standard.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We engaged SPI Property Inspections to carry out a final inspection for us. Frank did a very thorough job and picked up a number of things that would have otherwise not been found and we would have been left to fix ourselves after the sale was completed.
Very happy we went with this company and had the inspection undertaken. Definitely worth the minor cost compared to what it would have cost us to have the repairs done!
